Course Description

This Advanced Placement (AP) Physics 1 course is an algebra-based, introductory college-level physics class designed to foster deep conceptual understanding through hands-on, inquiry-based laboratory work. Students explore fundamental physical principles including Newtonian mechanics, rotational motion, energy, momentum, simple harmonic motion, and fluid dynamics. Emphasizing scientific reasoning and quantitative problem-solving, the course prepares students to analyze physical phenomena, design experiments, and take the AP Physics 1 Exam for potential college credit
