AP Physics C: Mechanics
Course Description
This course is a calculus-based, college level, rigorous course comparable to the first level physics course for entering physics and engineering majors. This course will cover study in kinematics, Newton’s Laws of Motion, work-energy theorem, conservation of energy, conservation of momentum, rotational mechanics, fluid mechanics and oscillations. Through hands-on laboratory work and rigorous problem-solving, the course equips students with the analytical skills needed for advanced studies in physics, engineering, and other physical sciences.The content of the course is designed to prepare the student for the AP exam. This course includes:
